Stewart's WebLog: Harvest 2011
Our Vineyards
Great wine begins in the vineyard, we firmly believe this and is why we work with the most devoted and innovative
growers in the Willamette Valley.
Every vineyard we work with is sustainably farmed, some are hold certifications, some aren't so interested in filling out the paperwork.
All the vineyards are tended by folks who care passionately for the vines, the environment, the grapes they grow and the wines we make.
We visit each site and work with the growers to understand each terroir, the unique combination of soil, exposure, altitude, and weather— all of which affect the character of the fruit and ultimately the flavors of the wine.
